The Baber Lab is an inclusive undergraduate research community built on trust, collaboration, open communication, and shared scientific curiosity.
Ashleigh E. Baber, Ph.D.
Professor of Chemistry · James Madison University
Dr. Baber specializes in ultrahigh-vacuum surface science, scanning tunneling microscopy, temperature-programmed desorption and reaction spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy, and heterogeneous model catalysts.
Selected honors: ACS Women Chemists Committee Rising Star, Negative Emissions Science Scialog Fellow, AVS Future Star, Cottrell Scholar, and JMU Madison Vision Teaching Award.
